Dear Parents/Carers
Weather
Due to the hot weather this week, there will be water play available to children throughout the day all week. Please make sure that children have some spare clothing in their bags in case they get wet (e.g. short sleeve tops, shorts/skirts).
Nursery will also provide activities in the shade and drinks will be available to encourage children to stay hydrated.
- Please dress children in clothes appropriate for the weather, light clothing with a sun hat on the hot days.
- We recommend that children wear tops that cover their shoulders.
- Please don’t forget to apply sun-cream to your child before bringing them to nursery.
- If your child attends full days please complete the permission to apply form (if you haven’t done so already, staff will provide you with a copy) and return it along with your child’s sun cream.
- Please label your cream and sun hat with your child’s name.
