Here is our ‘This Week at Colleges We Are’ for your information.
Nursery
We are exploring the topic of recycling and looking at all the different objects and materials we can find to sort around nursery. Also as part of Science week the children will have the opportunity to investigate the effects of hot and cold, floating and sinking and doing experiments to see how things change.
Daisy Room
This week we will be exploring shapes. We will be looking at shapes in the environment.
As part of Science week we will be taking part in some experiments to see how things change.
Spring Fayre
Following the success of our Spring Fayre last year we are excited to start planning another for this year. It will be here at Nursery on Saturday 25th April 10am-12pm. We are hoping to raise enough money to create a permanent water area in the garden. Sign-up sheets are now in the cloakroom. We would be very grateful if you could display a poster and paper copies are available from the office. We will be asking closer to the time for donations for the fayre, including bottles, chocolates, plants and cakes. If you know of anyone that may be willing to donate a raffle prize or would like a stall please speak to us.
Woodland Adventure
All woodland adventures are going ahead for this week but please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather.
Parking
If you drive your child to nursery please DO NOT PARK IN THE ARBURY COMMUNITY CENTRE CAR PARK. This area is for disabled parking and deliveries only. Please use the public car park adjacent to the nursery. Thank you for your co-operation.
