Here is our ‘This Week at Colleges We Are’ for your information.
Nursery –
We are investigating and exploring “I am a scientist”. Can we make things change colour, shape and texture.
Daisy –
Following the children’s interests in shapes. We will be exploring shapes in the environment and going on a shape hunt. We will use shapes to create collage and large scale modelling.
Red Nose Day
We will be celebrating on Friday by wearing red and all £1 donations will go to Comic Relief.
Living Eggs
The children will be able to observe eggs as the chicks hatch and will learn about the life cycle of a chick.
Spring Fayre
Our Fayre is approaching and will take place on Saturday 23rd March between 10.00 -12.00. Sign-up sheets to help on the day and for Easter hampers are up in the cloakroom. We are now collecting eggs for our egg tombola, all chocolate eggs/Easter eggs/mini eggs/ greatly appreciated.
Arbury Court Library Presents Adambara & Zhim
Saturday 16 March 3.30p.m. Curious Creations presents this charming show, with audience interaction, based on the traditional Indian Panchatantra story of the Elephant and the Mouse. Through enchanting puppetry and storytelling see how the two creatures learn to live side by side in harmony and how a tiny mouse helps the elephant to survive. The show begins and ends with art, music and dance activities. Refreshments available. Tickets are £4 per person, £14 family saver. www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/arts
Parent consultations
Parent consultations will take place in the Nursery week commencing 25 March and 1 April, in the Daisy Room week commencing 22 and 29 April. Parents will be asked to sign up for a time and to come in and talk to their keyworker about their child’s progress.

If your child started Nursery in January their Learning Journey will be ready to view by the end of this term. If you haven’t received an access code by email yet please notify the office.
