Christmas Fayre
Our Christmas Fayre is fast approaching and this week we will be sending letters home about how you can help.
Gifts for Giving
On Friday 8th and Monday 11th December we will be holding our ‘Gifts for Giving’ sale. Please remember that if you would like your child to take part, he/she should bring with them £1 or £2 in a named purse or envelope. Also in the purse could you please include a note of the person(s) who you would like your child to buy for (there will be gifts for men and women). All proceeds go to our nominated charity for this year, Save the Children.
To enable us to go ahead we would be very grateful if you could donate items as gifts for men and/or women. Items can be left in the collection box in the cloakroom or hand to your keyworker, this would be very much appreciated.
Christmas Songs
The children would like to invite you to come along and hear their Christmas songs on Wednesday 13th December. Please stay afterwards for a drink and mince pies and don’t forget to wear your Christmas jumper. Any photographs taken on the day must be for personal use only and not to be published in any format including on the internet/social network sites.
Christmas Parties
Parties will be held on Thursday 14th for Rose, Bluebell and the Daisy Room children and Tuesday 19th for Daffodil, Poppy and the Daisy Room children.
BIG SECRET (Don’t tell the children)
There will be a visit from Santa at 11.00 a.m. (Rose and Bluebell) and 3.15 p.m. (Daffodil and Rose)
He will be visiting Daisy Room at 10.45 a.m. and 3.00 p.m.
You are most welcome to join us for this.
Arbury Court Christmas Lights
On Tuesday 12th December at 3.30 p.m. the Christmas lights in Arbury Court are going to be switched on. You are all invited to go along with your children to join others from local schools, see the switch-on, see Father Christmas and sing some Christmas Songs. Budgens will be providing free tea, coffee and mince pies.
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices
This year EACH is running a Letter from Santa campaign, if you would like to support them the details are as follows;

Receive a personalised letter from Santa for all the special little people in your life, adding to the magic of Christmas!
Each letter costs just £5 and includes the child’s name, age and details about what they would like for Christmas, as well as some magic reindeer food! See your child’s delight when they receive this special post during December.
This campaign will help EACH support local life-threatened children, young people and their families this Christmas. Orders must be received by 13th December to guarantee Christmas delivery! Place your order at www.each.org.uk/santa

We have sent you all an email with information on how to apply for your child’s place.
Child & Family Health Event
The Child and Family Health Event is on Thursday 30 November, from 1.30 p.m. – 4.00 p.m. in the Community Centre. It is a free event with tips and advice from professionals covering children’s teeth, feet, eye health and much more.
